From the 2015 Super Bowl to the signing of our Director of Operation’s son to play football for New Mexico State University, we’ve been eating, sleeping, and breathing sports! Thus our reasoning in putting this topic up to the plate first.
5 Sports Teams We Love
1. Denton Guyer Varsity FootballĀ – Home of the Wildcats and the Watsons.
2. Big 12 FootballĀ – We love football as much as the rest of Texas and its hard to resist the Big 12 rivalries. Alumni from UT, OU, BU, TCU & TTU all call Minerva home so needless to say, we are a “House Divided” on Saturdays in the Fall. Plus they are great to follow on Twitter.
3. Rice Basketball – Founder/Partner Ashley Elsey played for the Rice Owls and continues to show love for the team.
4. SMU Athletics – Several Minervans attended SMU and the Ponies remain a hot topic around the water cooler. Even one of our own rode ponies on the Mustangs Equestrian team. You can assure that our fingers are crossed that SMU Basketball is invited to the NCAA Tournament this year.
5. All Dallas Pro Teams – Because our office is in North Texas… No other reasons needed. Cowboys, Mavericks, Rangers, Stars, FC Dallas – Texas Pride!
