“Christmas Beside You”

Chestnuts roasting by my heart
You lit it on fire from the very spark
Not gonna lie
Feels like Christmas beside you
You got me falling like the snow
I melt like frosty when it’s time to go
Not gonna lie
Feels like Christmas beside you

Ribbons and twine
I want your heart wrapped up with mine
Presents and bows
Your love’s a gift I long to hold
Sparkling lights
Cold winter nights
Mistletoe strung for two
Ooooooo
Feels like Christmas beside you

Rosy cheeks of Rudolph red
Then jingle jangle goes my head
Not gonna lie
Feels like Christmas beside you
Santa baby grant me this
All I want for Christmas is a kiss
Not gonna lie
Feels like Christmas beside you

Ribbons and twine
I want your heart wrapped up with mine
Presents and bows
Your loves a gift I long to hold
Sparkling lights
Cold winter nights
Mistletoe strung for two
OooOoo
Yeah
Feels like Christmas beside you

Ribbons and twine
I want your heart wrapped up with mine
Presents and bows
Oh there’s something I want you to know

Sparkling lights
Cold winter nights
Mistletoe strung for two
Yeah
Just got to say it
OooOoo
Can’t fake it
Feels like Christmas
Oh
Feels like Christmas beside you

Christmas, feels like Christmas beside you, boy…

Kelsey Lewis, (born on December 31st, 1994) a 19 year old Texas Singer /Songwriter from Dallas/Fort Worth, has been singing and performing since she was 6 years old. She has performed on many stages, including the Palladium Ballroom, Wildcatter Competition 2012, Relay for Life 2012,The House of Blues, Poor Dave’s Pub, The Opening Bell Coffeehouse, Arlington Music Hall, The Legends Game, Lone Star Coffee Bar, 2012 Texas GOP Convention, Raw Natural Born Artist Awakening Event 2014, Broadcast TV live performance 2014, and many others. She got the unique opportunity in 2011 to sing for the judges of X-Factor(USA).

It was at the age of 13 when she truly discovered her love and passion for songwriting! She has since then written a volume of different songs ranging from love, life, and the lessons learned along her journey! In December of 2012, she left for Nashville to pursue her first debut album with 2V Productions. Producers Richie Biggs(recording engineer for The Civil Wars, Amy Grant, George Strait, etc.) and Mark Hill(bassist for Reba McEntire and band manager for Keith Urban) came together with Kelsey to create “Beautiful View,” a 10 song album with 8 original songs from Lewis, a song written by Mark Hill and then a 1950’s cover of the classic Perry Como hit, “Catch a Falling Star.”

Beautiful View is said to be an album “that has to be savored in its entirety, because it is meant to delight and fill the listener with felicity, through lyrical storytelling by the singer.” Many have coined her with the title of “Vintage Futuristic,” when describing her unique style and sound. She loves the art of taking the new and infusing it with the old. Inspired by artists such as The Civil Wars, Joy Williams, Adele, Sara Bareilles, Jason Mraz, Christina Perrie, Kimbra, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, OneRepublic, Regina Spektor, Andrew Ripp, Etta James, and Patsy Cline, just to name a few, the range of personality and character in each song can most definitely be traced back to some of the artists listed above.

She is currently working on putting together a performing, writing and finding inspiration for future albums to come.

Jordan is an award winning producer and composer. His work has been featured on numerous recordings as well as film and television. Jordan believes that every melody tells a story. His goal in composing and producing is to craft the melodies and music to enhance the story that’s being told by the artist or by the film director.

Critz’s classical training on piano and guitar from the age of 8 fueled his love and unorthodox approach for making music. Because of his broad experience in working with many different styles of music, he’s right at home producing a rock band, working on country/folk music or scoring an orchestra for a film.

Over the years Jordan has become a multi-instrumentalist and has toured with numerous artists and played on many records from around the world. His solo artist work has also been featured on numerous popular TV shows. Jordan’s music has a way of exploring the space between human joy, pain and spiritual wonder.

Music is not just a job for Jordan. Above all he is a purist. His philosophy is to give the songs room to speak for themselves. His end goal is to create the best art possible to help us along in our experience in the wonder, the joy, the pain, the struggles, and the beauty of life.

I just really hope that in some way or form that through my stories they will be able to connect with yours . That's the beauty about music....it's a language of it's own.
