Our Story

Our Story

In 2003 Ashley Elsey founded Minerva Consulting grounded in the belief that fundamentally we want to be inspired.

Her own inspiration for Minerva was from her days working in communications and marketing in corporate America, where she realized there was a gap missing in communications agencies. She wanted one team who could understand her companiesā€™ story and purpose, develop strategy with her and execute creative content and deliverables. Unable to find such a group ā€“ she decided to create it herself.

Nearly two decades later, Minerva has won numerous international and domestic awards for its work and been named as one of the Best Places to Work by The Dallas Business Journal. We are also proud to be a certified WBENC: Womenā€™s Business Enterprise National Council member.

Today the company has grown with an office in Dallas, and employees in California, Florida, New York and North Carolina.

Our Culture

Minerva is like a second home for our employees, their kids and even their dogs.

We come from across the country and have various work backgrounds. We are inspired by our clients and each other to get creative, work hard, and deliver great results.

But weā€™re also all about the fun. We usually have a dog or a baby hanging out at the office. We love a Spotify playlist playing in the background as we brainstorm ideas (or talk about what weā€™re binging on Netflix). Memes are our preferred method of communications. And if the Olympics are on ā€“ weā€™re all in the conference room watching.

Most importantly, weā€™re founded by a single mom, who BELIEVES in the importance of work life balance. Sheā€™s become very skilled at deprogramming those of us who were unfamiliar with the concept.

Our Mission

Live and work inspired

See what can be.

Believe in what's possible.

Our Values

Dream Big. Care More. Be the Best. Have Fun. Serve Well. Work Hard. Inspire Change.
