Tales from a Minerva Intern: Sofia

My internship with Minerva is an experience I am so grateful for. Each morning you’re greeted with a warm welcome, and they truly define the meaning of a family work environment.

 The areas I have learned the most in are social media and public relations. This includes the reporting that must be analyzed, not only in order to know the success of a campaign, but to ensure you are reaching your target audience. I also strengthened my writing skills through all the blog and social posts I helped the team draft. And I was given the opportunity to have hands on experience on the in’s and out’s of account management through working with teams and hearing what each client’s goals are. They encouraged me to participate in everything from staff meetings to brainstorms.

 I am so looking forward to continuing to work with Minerva and the friends I have made here throughout my winter break!
