celebrate international women’s day

We honor women at our company!  We are in fact a collection of men and women, but mostly women — moms to be exact.  So, we balance our crazy lives with kids, spouses (some of us), friends, sports, homework, meetings, conference calls, etc.  We have a saying that our lives are “integrated,” because they have to be and because we want them to be.  No matter your gender, it’s important to celebrate all the parts of who you are.  Today, that’s what we celebrate on International Women’s Day — the women trying to live each area of their life to the fullest.  It takes courage to go for it every day.  And that’s what we try to do.

The question we must answer now is how do we nurture the development of the next generation of women leaders in Africa and worldwide. The answer begins with education. ... The challenges of change are always hard. It is important that we begin to unpack those challenges that confront this nation and realize that we each have a role that requires us to change and become more responsible for shaping our own future.

Prejudice and bigotry are brought the sheer force of determination of individuals to succeed and the refusal of a human being to let prejudice define the parameters of the possible.
